Hey, I am glad that you stopped by! I'm Scott Bradshaw, and I help people with financing for boats, airplanes and RVs. There are SO MANY moving parts to recreational financing that I started this site to help explain them.

A little about me

I am an Eastern North Carolina native, growing up on the waters near Wilmington. I started driving a boat sitting in my dad's lap as a little guy, and haven't stopped since. Boating is part of my life, not just the subject of a loan application.

Why this site exists

You might be buying from a dealer, working with a broker or talking directly with an owner. You might have cash and be deciding whether to use it. Or you may simply be trying to understand why boat financing is different from buying a car.

Those are useful questions. The goal here is to help you make a good decision, including when the answer is that a particular boat or loan does not fit.
